Help for my son.

Hello, looking for some help please for my son. He has bought the farm sim 19 platinum expansion. Does this require the platinum version of the game of does the normal one work. It’s just he has paid for it and it’s downloaded but it doesn’t seem to be visible or working

I'm going to assume you have the base Farming Simulator 19 game.
Once them game is loaded, go to the mods menu.
Three or four tabs over you will see DLC's, I'm at work,
so I'm not precisely sure what the tab is called,
But all my DLC's only are in that tab,
Is the Claas Premium expantion pack there, and listed
underneath that it should say "downloaded".

let me know if you are at that point, and I can help you. I just went through
all this last night myself. So it's fresh in my memory.

The Platinum Expansion requires the FS19 base game.
The Platinum Edition is the base game including the Platinum Expansion.

Okay, you need to click on buy button.
That will take you to the Microsoft store.
Once there, all the purchasable add-ons should show up.
Give it a few seconds minutes,
and it should say purchased or something along those lines
under the Claas pack, if it was in fact pre-purchased.
Click on that tab and it may begin a small intro video.
After that runs it course you should get a menu in which
you can click to download and install.
After that has run its course, return to the game.
in that tab from the previous post I mentioned with the DLCs,
in the game itself, it should now say downloaded.
Also you could start a new game save on any map,
Say ravenport, and see if it shows up in the modlist.
I purchased the Claas Dominator and it didn't show up as downloaded,
but I started my saved game and it was an option to use.
If that makes sense, I feel like I'm probably more long winded than I need to be.

My two bonus items says I have to buy them in order to download, but they are listed in their respects categories when I load up a new save. Hope you figure it out.
