Equipment Needed:
Ponsse Scorpion King (optional can use another harvester)
Jenz Placeable Wood Crusher/Heating Plant (Console Mod easily obtained in game)
TT Colossus Sugarcane Tipper

Buy all necessary equipment.
I usually get a large tractor to pull the TT Colossus Sugarcane trailer but do not get double tires or wide tires stick to the standard tire setups or you will have trouble.
First place the placeable jenz wood crusher/heating plant in a central location to where you are going to be clearing trees.
Take your harvester and tractor with the colossus trailer to work area and cut tree sections to 1.0 meter lengths directly into the trailer.


Once your trailer is full pull parallel to the wood crusher/heating plant and dump the wood directly into it.
The colossus trailer has a unique way of dumping the wood onto the wood crusher and is the EXACT right size so that you arent dumping your load onto the ground...the wood gets crushed and sold instantly. This isnt the technically the most profitable way to do forestry but when you consider the time investment (time is money) in doing forestry the traditional way this is actually the most cost effective/efficient/profitable way I have ever found to do forestry. I hope this helps the multitude of you folks ive seen struggling with the tedious nature of forestry farming.

I just worry some logs fall to the ground when you unload them to crusher
I am too lazy to pick them up

Does this tipper allows to hook several of them onto you tractor? I mean can you use more than one.

There will inevitably be times where wood will get jammed in the machine or a few pieces will fall to the ground...but i literally was struggling for 10 minutes loading one log onto a logging trailer so getting out of my tractor and taking a few minutes picking up a few small pieces and unjamming the machine seems much simpler and easier to do than spending 4 hours loading one log trailer only to have to unload it all and have that take an hour or so to get right...i dont know if you can link the trailers i just run back and forth with the one trailer for simplicity/time sake...the lengths are 1.0 meters so the pieces can be easily picked up by hand and thrown in the machine

I want to also note that because of the way the colossus trailer dumps its load you can do a gradual dump slowly so that the crusher is less likely to get overwhelmed and jam with backed up wood

Whats the approximate price per tree using that chipper?

Dont know how efficient it is. But I use a chainsaw, a track loader, and the bandit trailer. A small tractor (Fiat 65-66) for transport. Very cheap operation and I can load at least three fully grown trees on it. Could even eliminate the track loader if you don't mind using the tractor to load. But it's quite a bit slower that way.

The forestry equipment is nice. But it's just too expensive for me. I play on the hardest mode.

this is a great idea. Never thought of using the tipper

i didnt think conveyer belts could carry wood....that is what you mean by track loader right? im on console btw

i understand that i do the same sometimes but i was looking for a more time efficient way to do forestry so that i can actually make money and make it more viable as an income source

No. I'm talking about the skid steer that has tracks. The New Holland.

does the skid steer load small wood easier than the wheel loaders bc i tell ya ive had nothing but headaches with wheel loaders trying to get small wood in the buckets
