Back on Mercer DFMEP for a brief time before I can finish Goldcrest EP to the point of testing (see my FB page if you're interested in my Goldcrest project)

Got a cut of hay done this year among other things. Let the 1270 breathe and get off the mixer to rake hay, then put the 4020 straight to work upon purchase from the community trader (link in signature) baling hay up for the calves.

Image

Had an uneventful bean harvest, I drove the combine the whole time because I forgot I removed the keybind for hiring a worker

Silage took a full afternoon and a few hours the following morning (5x speed), had some showers in the evening, but nothing that plugged up the chopper. Opening up was a little painful but after that, I had a good system going.

Last of the year was corn harvest. This was probably the most streamlined process, because I had my brother Courseplay and twin cousins AutoDrive out to help run the combine and the 1.5 mile haul to my silo. I ran the grain cart, which I recently got cleaned up and fixed. It was in a bad state when I first moved into the new farm facility. Right now it's middle of winter and I've hauled most of the manure out. Going to haul more in the springtime to clean out all the bedding accumulated over the winter, then I can harvest some wheat, triticale haylage, and get a cut of alfalfa hay

Well after some pretty high egg prices I decided the profit margins just aren't there for chickens and never will be, so I sold them off
Image
I'm demoing the old chicken barns to make room for another hog barn, what I should have done originally like I planned to on this property but thought I would make a go of the existing infrastructure
Image
All Gone
Image
I also purchased another chunk of land that has a recently operation dairy on it.

Don't know what I'm gonna do with the barn yet, I might feed out steers or utilize the dairy we'll see
Also purchased a baler a few hay racks a rake and a couple gravity boxes(not pictured)
Image
Other than that just yard work until corn is ready

If you are trying to replicate the RL Clarke farms, you will have to get rid of the 9330

Why? Last I checked it’s a 9330.
Now the AFS Steiger was just goofing around deleting excess cash.

And dumb question probably, what is his other social media’s since it’s not on YouTube and I never paid attention to what platforms he’s on as I don’t have any accounts.

That's a rough deal for Clarke Farms. That ol' 9330 was a good looking tractor. I subscribe on YT, but same as Deere317, no other social media accts.

Six Ashes w/ Seasons - just had one of those nail-biters where your main crop takes longer than usual to ripen... Mid autumn, still wasn't ready to harvest, soaking wet and the forecast for all of late autumn was rain or snow. Late autumn, got in a one (1) hour window late the evening of autumn day 7, then everything was damp again. Day 8, no go, rain/wet all day. End of day 8 the forecast for day 9 improves, and I get just enough of a window day 9 PM to get it done. Oof! Thought I was going to lose the crop. (Yes I could've just turned crop moisture off, but I don't feel that would be sporting :)
