Okay i think we can call this answered.
FS20 won't come to PS4 (or XB1, or PC) because it's our mobile game. FS21 will be the next one for PC, PS4 and XB1.

For me no drama, just a confirmation FS21 is coming and they will not take more time before releasing a new version. What's in the game, we will see sometime next year.

You assume FS21 is being released in 2020.
If they release it November 2021, it can still be called FS21

My poin't was, they will not skip a release so it still will be 17, 19, 21 and not 17, 19, 22 or 23

But honestly, it would be daft to say "nah, no FS21".

FS19 is probably the biggest game yet, with John Deere and Claas (and others) both debuting. To stop dead would prove catastrophic for them. Why would they.

I suppose the question be whether they went to a 3 year cycle, as opposed to the usual 2 year.

If they were shutting down they would most likely know before they launch their last game.
Probably an announcement like “this is our last game so enjoy it” or something like that.
