Sugarbeets..

Are they profitable? Been playing since 17, I've done potatoes and other regular crops, but I've never done sugarbeets or sugarcane.

I don't know how profitable because I only grow them for the pigs. I rather do sugar beets than potatoes any day because I can plant the sugar beets with the great plains planter instead of a smaller potato planter.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.

This is without Seasons...i dont know how its in Seasons, but probably similar result.

Does that breakdown take into account bailing straw on grain crops?

Dont know, not my table, found it on reddit 1 year ago, but it has some valuable informations...there is a special row for Straw only, 4th from the bottom.

Yes I saw that. So the actual profit from grains you have to add up the grain and the straw prices which make them look alot better.
