I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this, or maybe I'm just out of my mind:
I'm on PS4 Pro with the frame rate always optimized as much as possible (2K mode with no render enhancements, I believe). When I loaded up Westbridge Hills for the first time with a bunch of mods enabled (including Seasons), it visually seemed as though the frame rate was suffering, maybe closer to a constant 30fps. I reloaded the map with all mods disabled and it looked pretty much the same. Then I loaded up New Woodshire and it also seemed to be running at a lower frame rate.
Did a recent patch change something, or it is FPS dependent on the map? Should I load up Ravenport with no mods as a benchmark?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: FPS?
Definitely give the vanilla map no mods a try. If you haven't already, check your TV settings also, did something maybe get switched?
EDIT: I am on xbox, not PS sonI can't be of much help, sorry.

Re: FPS?
is this just in the beginning or does it persist after you have been on the map a bit and had a drive around?

It's persistent and constant, even after an hour or so of gameplay.PrincessJessi84 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2019 6:36 pm is this just in the beginning or does it persist after you have been on the map a bit and had a drive around?
I think I'll load up Ravenport with no mods tonight and see what happens. I'll double-check my TV settings as well, although I don't recall changing anything and other games definitely seem to be running at 60fps. If no one else is experiencing this on the PS4 Pro, it has to be a setting somewhere.

Re: FPS?
(On PC) From what I have learned, a lot of mods that are selected in a save game will indeed cause lag issues. I have around 200 or so mods, only around 150 are enabled all at once on one of my mod map save games and I get fps drops especially when hiring worker and I get micro stutter issues, even though I have good system. On the other hand, the vanilla maps with little mods (mostly scripts) works just fine with very little to no lag.
