Seasons ready maps

Post by vondeylenfarms »

So I finally got to winter on my map, Welkers, and snow and rain come through the roof... I thought that was going to be fixed? Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought I read that buildings would rain/snow free

Seasons is glitchy when it come to rain through the roof, from what I have seen on Lone Oak and what I am seeing here. On Lone Oak, if I am standing on the far end of the barn and its raining, it appears to rain through the roof but as I make my way to the middle of the barn, it appears to lessen. Not sure if that seems like the same issue you are having.

If a proper snow mask is on the map, shouldn't come through.

Now that you mention it, it is less in the middle way from doors. Not a game breaker, just curious as it looks kinda bad lol

The rain through roofs thing is because it's only not visual in a fixed area around the player =)
I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.

I think greenwich valley is also seasons ready on console and that has the rain/snow issue also even with snow mask tested it on snowy lands so. My guess is its something that seasons messed up. And i hope that can be fixed with an update to seasons and not to game itself.

I'm having an issue with the snow running on Lone Oak, that's why I say it isn't ready. I didn't see any updates for welker farms on the modhub. It must be a bug issue for seasons or it isn't compatible with certain maps.

I mainly get most information off of the modhub in game, which only tells half of the story. Need an update for seasons on lone oak however, rain comes through certain buildings the cow barn being one for me. Snow didn't populate on the ground, I was running the Midwest Geo on 6 day seasons, I do have other geos downloaded maybe I had two check marked or loaded into the game... :hi:

If snow doesn't populate on the ground than it has a snow mask and is seasons ready.
