Ok, so after filling my cows water trough I still have some water left in my trailer.
How the heck do I empty my trailer so I can fill it with milk for instance?!

Probably have to download a water storage tank. No other way to unload it unless you use it on animals

Yeah this can be pretty annoying especially if you put way too much water in and the reset point is a long way away. You should be able to dump it in the river or on the ground... its water technically...
On a side note, I wish there was an option to set the reset area for vehicles.
On an even sidier note, wouldn't it be cool if you could set up your farm and like 'set as default locations' or something so that when you just want to shut off the game or something and don't want to park everything you could just reset all the equipment back to it's default location on your farm? I wouldn't ever use it myself because I'm not a lazy farmer or anything, but I'm sure there are 'others' who would jk i would use it.

The thing with the reset location is, that it consists of an area, similar to the shop area. Now with FS19 they intruduced the "build your own farm" feature which would prevent such option, as the game simple doesn't know where your farm is or which area should be used as a reset area, since you could place your house close to field 1, your horse next to field 10 and your silo somewhere else.

This is why I like Lone Oak. The reset area is at the main farm.

In FS17 (or was it FS15) one was able to empty the trailer onto the ground.

put the Multi Selling Station on the farm and you can sell the water left in your tank
Plus it is handy for all other products you want to sell and you don't have to drive miles

Strange how a function, like being able to let the water out of a water trailer, was not added. Dare I say it's one of many incomplete functions, and a bug?

Emptying a water tank to use it for milk is not realistic.

Don't blame the game.
