1.1.0.0:
Increased sink of wheels, this will make it harder to pull small wheels in soft ground.
Added missing information about balers and loading wagons use power based on fillspeed.
The power added by fillspeed is now based on the mass of the mateial,
grass needs more power then straw for example.

Slightly increased friction of street tires.
Added the wheel digging into the ground if no traction.
Removed gearbox.
Didn’t see that bit only seen the removed gearbox part :lol:

The one that isn't there anymore :hi:
I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.

I deleted this mod because of the way it made the pickup to handle like it was on ice all the time! is that fixed now?

Yes it does! And it works quite well, you feel a difference between 2wd, 4wd and with locked differentials.

1. Open the REA.lua with notepad++
2. Navigate to line 46
3. change "true" to "false"
it should look like this now:

Code: Select all

local UseGUI = false;
Save, confirm the repacking of the zip file and you are done.

If you use it in multiplayer, make sure only one does it and shares the repacked zip file with the others.

I am enjoying the new version so far, was not a fan of the emulated gearbox.

I was slurry / cultivating (zunhammer / catros combo) and the engine was at full power but going slow. Zoomed in a little and one of the front wheels was tyre deep in the mud and spinning like mad; very cool! This was on a bit of field that had failed germination, like a damp spot or something. Once past that section the tyre came up out of the mud, the slip and power percentage dropped and speed went up.

I think this is going to make you think much more on tractor HP, tyre setup and front weight combinations. Especially on hilly terrain.

Be nice if the slip / power values were represented as gauges somehow around the existing speed, fuel etc, rather than text a third across the screen. Version 1.2 maybe? :smileynew:

I do use both of them and i haven't seen any conflict so far, but you will notice that you need a lot more horsepower to pull the same equipment as before.
Example: before using REA i could pull two full Rudolph DK280W with my 200 HP Valtra N, now i struggle to keep up with a combine, when only pulling one 3/4 full trailer
