Rest of 2020 concerns

Obviously it's known now that the next game isant coming out this year. I read that custom modding for example is having issues getting mods onto modhub(for console users) and cut their list of expected mods way down! Lots of mods in testing, I'm aware, but will players get enough to keep this game enjoyable for the year? I for one enjoy checking every day the mod list and update testing list. I understand 3dlc may be coming yet also but honestly those could be limited on enjoyment like the Anderson one was for me. Just wanting to hear others thoughts or maybe concerns? Im glad they are waiting on next gen consoles for release but it's a long ways off and will hard if modders stop or slow down.

We are at the point where most of the mods from 17 have been remade for 19, so most of what we get from now on will be completely new stuff.

I am looking forward to what comes even more.

I agree with above.

Also, the post custom modding made on FB is not a bad post, he just states that time and skills have limits etc. So has nothing to do with fs19 being bad etc. (Fs21 he probably has same points.

I wouldn’t worry, you might see more modders try get something to console with the additional time they have with the delay of the next installment.

Yes custom modding post wasn't all bad...they did list what mods still coming but the list is shorter than before as if either they aren't coming, or they might not pass when put through testing. I hope things stay strong dont get me wrong! Modders and their great mods keep this game fun

The sad part is he had to make a post like that because of the hate he has received and how impatient and entitled people get towards him.

Less work load puts less stress on modders and know they have more time to work on

For 17, those months before 19 came out, the modders really showed off their capabilities. So now this time around we'll have around 4-5 more months of that. That fact we are getting buckets, shovels, grain augers,.. it all points to some really unique and cool things. Sandy Bay on the horizon, plus stuff completely out of left field, nah, I wouldn't be worried.

Yes it's extremely sad that people do that...and make good console users look bad. Like I said above, lots of mods in testing yet and as chedly stated modders have good skill and ideas just hope that they make it to consoles as apparently other than licensing issues, it's hard to get them in for us.

I wouldn't worry. All the really good stuff is just starting to come out if you ask me. People are starting to work more with Global Company and coming up with all sorts of cool placeables that utilize it. This is about the time that modders really start to innovate and come up with some awesome stuff.

Yeah, could be exciting times ahead for fs19.

I wouldn't worry too much. The modding community already has one year of experience in FS19, so new mods should be easier to make and more stable.
I'm anxiously waiting for Oxygen Dave's new map.

Totally agree with that extended time between releases can only be a good thing for mods as just as modders have got to grips with any changes the next version is close.
