It should be enough just to go to the save folder and delete "terrain.heightmap.png" "terrainDetailHeight_density.gdm" "tipColMap.grle" and the hole should disappear ...

It works for me when the terrain is modified by placing something on the map.

I have become fond of my sinkhole. It’s different and kind of fun to have around.

So what part of the field did this happen?

Look at the coordinates on the mini map, looks to be around 1030,1030.

Thank you. I use the net through my phone and that tiny text is near impossible to see.

I live in florida, so sinkholes are pretty much my life.
You know what, I had a problem in that same place on PC, not a hole but an iron ghost.

Contractor mod kept thinking there was an extra worker there but just on the map, I had my 5 workers but there was an icon there was another one showing there on the mini map. It wasn't affecting anything until this last weekend so I wasn't worrying about it to much until I downloaded the Anhydrous Ammonia mod pack. When the tank hit that spot it stopped dead, hit so hard it lifted the back of the tractor off the ground from the shock. I had to back up and go around the spot, there was nothing I could do to get through it without the tank stopping dead.

I should have taken a screenshot of it before I tried troubleshooting a solution but I ended up fixing the contractor mod issue by taking all my workers out of all the vehicles, saving and restarting the game. I don't know if this fixed the issue of the NH3 tank hitting something there yet but if I remember I will run one down there tonight and see what happens.

I have no idea what the issue was, or why that fixed it but it was in that exact same spot so there is something weird in the programming of that map.

Know you the placeable lake on modhub?
It was pretty cool if there was something like a placeable concrete or wood plate.

Good news everyone!

So, the hole is still there, and stuff still falls in it, but I finally tried the lake a couple of you suggested and it does work and looks way better than a huge pit. Thanks for the tip.

that "pond" looks good

plant a bunch of trees around that thing and you should be all set.

How much did you have to pay for water to fill that?

Can you terraform over that pond to cover it up and fix that hole?
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.

Would selling the field and letting it sit for a season change the ability to terraform it? Would the game revert the field back to its original state once the "new owner" takes it back?
