I have a sinkhole in my field

Post by Jonhinkerton »

So, a square plot of my field dropped straight to down into a deep hole. I can’t seem to landscape it back to normal or do anything but paint it. It’s on a map I’ve put over a hundred hours into, so I’d hate to have to give up on it. I can always farm around it, but it’s weird.

Intersting, and using the levelling function of the landscape tool doesnt do anything?
I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.

My guess its a junk placeable that has an error in its ground leveling setup. You can set a placeable to level the ground or put a hole in the ground or raise the ground. Did you place anything on the map between not having that and having it? Console or PC? PC get Placeanywhere and it might let you level that spot off.

Really dude?
We, ‘console master race’, don’t have to deal with singularities like that.
The slot count won’t allow it

I can make it bigger using smoothing, but not smaller.

There’s never been anything there but field. I think it was a spot of ground with failed cultivation or weeds that just glitched.

I am on ps4 so options are limited. I might put a fence around it and charge admission.

Can you put a water plane/plain (spelling?) there? Not sure if you downloaded that mod that came out in the first few weeks. Maybe just landscape a little pond in the middle of your field? Just throwing out suggestions to help out.

Just stick a piece of hose in the ground so you don't run over it. That's what we did for a big rock we had that we didn't want to dig out.

have you tried, to place a simply shed over it?
the placelevelingfunktion should flat them
sell the shed and plough the are then,
your field should be repaired.
(turn off the automatic saveing until you trying this)
