Hitch on SPS360-50

Post by redglasses »

Has anyone thought of a use for the hitch on the rear of this cultivator? Even looking at it irl I couldn't find a use for it, I would assume it's mostly for separate baskets.

Could be used to pull a cart for applying dry fertilizer. Could even be setup for seeding, at least in real life. Don't know about in game, quest ill find out tomorrow.

I was going to see if it'll hook up to that 12m Horsch planter so I can do corn/sunflowers in one pass.

IRL our field cultivator has a hitch and we pull a drag behind it. Alot of farmers in my area pull something behind their spring tillage rigs.

Our field cultivator has a hitch behind it too, but we don't use it, the crumbler that went behind it is used on the chisel plow

We have a basket on our chisel as well, but I have seen soil finishers with a basket on them.

There is probably a better combo, hmm.

A plow with fert would be better though.

I love that it has the hitch, just wish something would fit behind it. Does any modder want to make a rolling basket to add to it? It's be just for looks probably

IRL it would be for either pulling a crumbler, coil packer, anhydrous tank or, what I was really hoping was going to work, an air cart for putting down dry fertilizer.

The red tool on the back is a drag. We almost always pull this drag behind the cultivator to break up clumps and level out the soil. For any US midwest farmers that was from June third
