Yeah I went back cut that tree only and no problem. I’m going to cut the trees on plot 59 see what happens.

Definitely a problem in the patch of woods between lot 58/59 got the game to crash twice cutting those trees. I have no idea which tree causes the crash.

floating tree's just landscape it before hand. Can move the ground up and down before you cut, once you have cut the tree down you can not do it.

So the game is crashing as you are playing then?

The problem I had was that although the game I had a few hours on was fine when I saved then quit out of it, I couldn't get it to reload again. It got to 20-23% loaded and then blue screened. Not sure if it's the same problem?

Also, I'd not noticed any "floating trees" although I have spotted one on my Sussex Farms game. This is on the opposite side of the road to the Farm Silo in the East, adjacent to the road by field 26. Was tempted to cut it down, but instead did what CMDRTAKEDOWN recommended above and landscaped the ground up to it. Looks like this might have been a good decision!

I’m sorry I didn’t mean crashed while I’m playing. I cut those trees exited and couldn’t get back in the save. I should’ve been a little more clear. Sorry

:) No need to be sorry - I just wasn't sure if we were having the same problem!

Yep same problem. That patch of trees between 58/59 is definitely causing a problem. Don’t know if there are any others or not.

Update is out. Quick heads up - on updating the trees disappeared from my savegame. I'm not the only one but it apparently is not the same for everyone. With a new savegame you get all the trees.
