As far as I’m aware, the filltypes are already supported by one of the hoses. Just need to specify it.

The GlobalCompany - Animal Stable Storages mod from LS Modding already has the hoses working with water for the animals, it's pretty cool in that you can use it make a map manure mod compatible without having to edit the map. You need the latest beta manure mod from Wopsters Github to make it work though.

Also an update to the Universal Tanks mod has just been released by Farmer Andy and it's now manure mod compatible, you can pump all sorts of liquid with the hoses even including diesel, making it more...universal

It does not support. No hoses are connected to the water and milk tanks.

It wouldn't work with the Joskin trailer or the default water tank placeable but tbh if it now works with the universal tank mod it doesn't matter anymore.

All the default slurry tankers that accept the manure mod slurry hoses will accept water as well as slurry or digestate as long as the manure mod is activated. So Giants have pretty much already implemented the Manure mod hose structure into the game and all that is now needed is for the mod to be in and activated for it to all work.

Edit: I decided to test this a little bit using the Animal storage mod I referred to above and of course the manure mod on a vanilla map with stock slurry tankers...here's what I found;

You can pump water from a pond or river with any of the equipment available or even just by throwing the open end of a hose into the water...pretty cool







Then you can connect a hose to the water tank and pump it in there.



NB., these tanks are not just solely for feeding animals and can be place anywhere as water storage and you can pump into or out of them, being Global Company stuff you can also buy water to fill them via the GC menu if you wish, it's not cheap though!

I'm having problems getting the GC tanks to work with the manure system. FS doesn't recognise the ManureSystem when I download the github beta. Am I downloading the right file as it shows in the mods folder as "manureSystem-master"?
With the modhub version of manure system the GCwanter tanks function but don't recognise the manure system hoses.

You have downloaded the correct file, but as it is the "master" file you need to do a few things to prepare it before you can put it in your mods folder so that the game will recognize and work with it.

A tutorial with simple screenshots would be an idea if I get a minute later today, but for now follow this info.

1 UNzip the manureSystem-master.zip and put the manureSystem-master folder on your desktop.

2 Compare the contents of the folder manureSystem-master to the FS19_manureSystem.zip from the modhub and delete any extrafiles in the folder.
(The screenshot in the link I gave below will show you which ones)

3 Select all the remaining files, right click on one, then in the dialog box that pops up, send to/compressed (zip) file.

4 Rename your new zip file to FS19_manureSystem.zip and move it to your mods folder.

5 Test.

BD Modding have a tutorial on their website just for this, but it's in German However many modern browsers will translate for you if you right click on the page and select "tanslate to English.

That's why I wasn't using Global Company mod. Perhaps they will fix it with updates without the need for these.

Thanks Pict I have everything in game now and have been testing it all. So far I've found LSFM's small slurry tenders won't play with water - the fill types dissappear when purchased leaving only digestate and slurry. Also the universal hose appears to be fertiliser specific.
I've also found the GC animal extension water tanks don't really work with the manure system. Thay can be phyiscally connected but offloading functionality is the same as the base game. I'm also not entirely convinced they are interacting with the animal pens but I think that just needs more testing.
All of this might be me, might be mod conflicts of the result of it still being beta.
I have found the other slurry trailers I've tried so far will work with water and Manual Attach functions properly too.

Anyone got an alternate download link for the Universal Tank Pack that isn't on that scumbag Uploaded . Net website. I refuse to download any mods that people host on there, because they have ridiculous slow download rates and limit you to one file every 3 hours. A Mega or Google Drive Link would be more then acceptable.
