Shamrock valley cows

I am playing shamrock valley with seasons. I bought cows and the grazing feature was working well but now the patch which is grazed has no grass, it’s just like a green carpet. Has anyone else had this problem? Oh I’m on console.

Isn't this because it has been grazed? In time it will grow back (this could be not until the following year pending)

They will eat the grass until there is no grass to eat. Then once it grows again they will be able to graze again. So you’ll always want to keep something else on hand to feed them, especially in the winter

Thanks but I know that. The grazing feature was working but it’s not like the grass has been eaten it’s just like there’s nothing there now. I used the device to see how wet the grass is and there is nothing there, doesn’t tell you growth or crop moisture, all it tells me is soil moisture.

Because it’s technically not a crop you planted, so it won’t show growth. If it is light green on the growth map then they won’t graze it until it turns orange. Unless Shamrock valley isn’t seasons compatible, I’m not sure as I haven’t played that map

Could just test and wait to see if it grows. In the meantime, I'm pretty sure with Seasons on the EDGE multi filling station or whatever it's called gives you grass for free

I will see what happens. Might be a mod conflict, I will have a mess about see if I can fix it. It’s not the end of the world.
