GP YP-2425A Planter Question

This might be a stupid question, but I don’t see any indication on it that I know of...

I am using the 18m GP YP-2425A Planter, but I’m curious - can I plant/seed without cultivating? Is this a direct drill? How do I know if it is in game?

Usually it states it after the sentence of the description of what the implement does.

the 2425 isn’t a no-till planter in the game. If you want that, you must go with the YP-4025 modded one. 20ft smaller but no-till option.
