The last DLC of FS19?

Post by iwan073 »

At Agritechnica, visitors could already see the Kverneland equipment in FS19. Which turned into one of the DLC's yet to be released.

Since they also showcased New Holland's T8 Genesis and 1290 Big Baler, will this be the last DLC of Farming Simulator 19?
Maybe together with the also shown Berthoud sprayers?

I believe those balers were just show off the newest balers from New Holland, you see them in the news on the New Holland website. Same with the sprayers

Keep in mind that FarmCon was supposed to be held at Deutz. We probably wont see anything more from Agritechnica
I assume people don't use Seasons, unless they say otherwise.

If GIANTS has these models in FS19, I don’t see a reason for them NOT to share them with us. This as free downloads or as paid DLC.

As for Deutz-Fahr; perhaps there is or was going to be an announcement for the next Farming Simulator.

How about licensing

And as for new games, the next release will probably be fall 2021 so after FarmCon 21. Would have been weird if they'd announced something for that game at this time.

We don't know if they ever intended to release a FS21 this year, in which case they might have booked with Deutz-Fahr to hold FarmCon with a view to previewing FS21 before deciding not to release this year.

Will Deutz-Fahr eventually be the cover brand for FS2x? Will there instead be a Deutz-Fahr themed Platinum-style DLC? Who knows.

As for New Holland, I doubt there will be a DLC for that content. They are more likely going to replace their equivalent predecessors in the next game (similar to how the AGCO IDEAL was originally shown in FS17 at Agritechnica, but never released).

back when they announced that they where delaying fs21 they said we would get three more dlc, those dlc would contain about 90 more vehicles and implements. the bourgault dlc had 8 things and the vicon/Kverneland dlc has 24 things if you count the stuff that's from both brands. so the last dlc should have around 58 new things in it. my source https://www.yesmods.com/announcements/n ... e-in-2020/

Your source's source is miles off.

I've just totted up that there will be 496 items in game once the Kverneland/Vicon DLC has been released and including the previous DLCs (but not including mods or bonus items). Already way beyond the touted 450 items suggested in the press release. If you don't include objects and placeables then that comes down to 446, which is still very close to the figure mentioned.

I've broken them down here if anyone is interested (includes the items in the Kverneland/Vicon DLC and previous DLCs):
Vehicles

11 Small tractors
14 Medium tractors
24 Large tractors
5 Trucks
12 Harvesters
5 Forage harvesters
1 Potato technology
5 Beet technology
1 Sugarcane technology
2 Cotton technology
6 Forestry
1 Animals
2 Crop protection
1 Mowers
2 Front loaders
3 Wheel loaders
4 Telehandlers
2 Skid steer loaders
2 Cars
2 Misc

Sub-total: 105

Equipment

19 Trailers
5 Auger wagons
16 Headers
10 Corn headers
15 Forage headers
5 Potato technology
5 Beet technology
9 Sugarcane technology
6 Cotton technology
6 Plows
12 Cultivators
9 Disc harrows
2 Power harrows
6 Subsoilers
24 Seeders
11 Planters
8 Crop protection
4 Fertiliser technology
5 Manure spreaders
13 Slurry tanks
4 Weeders
9 Mowers
4 Tedders
4 Windrowers
7 Loading wagons
20 Baling technology
4 Chainsaws
9 Forestry equipment
12 Animals
4 Animal transport
4 Levelers
14 Front loaders
4 Wheel loaders
6 Telehandlers
9 Skid steer loaders
1 Dollys
1 Low Loaders
10 Header trailers
15 Weights
4 Belt Systems
4 Misc

Sub-total: 341

Objects

6 Big bags
6 Pallets
5 Bales

Sub-total: 17

Placeables

11 Animal pens
10 Silos
3 Sheds
4 Miscellaneous
4 Decoration
1 Farmhouse

Sub-total: 33

Total 496
So in short it's highly unlikely you'll be getting 58 new things if there is to be just one more DLC this year. Probably closer to 10 to 20 depending on what sort of DLC it is.

Wishful think but maybe a Kubota and Versatile combo DLC. Iclound some of the small Kubota Models with the M8 but also include the Versatile Nemesis with Versatile's larger tractors.

They could hold the New Holland and Berthoud until Christmas and do that again like they did last Christmas.

I put my bet on Deutz-Fahr.
Why?
1. Farmcon 2020 will be held on Deutz-Fahr arena, also this time we get the DLC announcment and DLC will follow in autumn 2020. Same scenario happened already with Claas.
2. Deutz-Fahr has lot of new equipment to represent inside the game.
3. Deutz-Fahr as long time FS partner has very few and outdated equipment inside the game at the moment, desperately need for renewal.

Perhaps new harvesters, tractors and more things from SDF group incoming?

I think Berthoud and New Holland stuff will be released as free mods or addons, when it is right time to release them.
I think there are not enough of pieces of them to make a DLC.
