Hi,
I've just installed the Straw Harvest mod, and I'm wondering if the maps need to support it specifically or should it works for all maps?
I'm also wondering where I can change the price for straw pellets? Is there some fillType.xml file I can edit the prices for the pellets to my likings?

You can use Addon Straw Harvest in any map. As about the prices, I will check it and I will let you know.

OK, first of all keep in mind that after you make changes in the zip file, the game will ask you to update the mod.
Here are the steps in order to adjust the prices :
1.Unnzip the file FS19_addon_strawHarvest.zip
2. Go to FS19_addon_strawHarvest
3. Click on placeables
4. Click on palletSellPoint
in other words, you will go to this path :
FS19_addon_strawHarvest/placeables/palletSellPoint
5. Open palletSellPoint.xml
6. You will see this :
<sellingStation triggerNode="3" stationName="$l10n_name_palletSellPoint" appearsOnPDA="true" storageRadius="0" litersForFullPriceDrop="100000" fullPriceRecoverHours="48">
<unloadTrigger exactFillRootNode="6" acceptedToolTypes="bale trigger" />
<fillType name="strawPellets" priceScale="1.8" supportsGreatDemand="true" disablePriceDrop="false"/>
<fillType name="hayPellets" priceScale="1.8" supportsGreatDemand="true" disablePriceDrop="false"/>
</sellingStation>
7. Make the adjustments you want, and then save the palletSellPoint.xml
8. Select everything from FS19_addon_strawHarvest and compress them back to FS19_addon_strawHarvest.zip and go back to the game.

If you play single player you can unpack the mod to a directory and delete the zip file. No need to rezip it. Then it is easy to change something else and the game wont suggest updating it or overwrite your altered zipfile.

Hmm... after changing the priceScale in the xml file, and saved the changes, it didn't change the price in game when I restarted. No matter what I change it to, it seem to have no effect. Re: Questions about the straw harvest mod
If you have placed Pallet Sell Points prior to doing the xml changes to increase the price scale, you'll need to sell your existing Pallet Sell Points and then buy new ones to get them using the new xml data. Also note that the xml changes only apply to the price of the Pallet Sell Point, it will have no effect on other sell points on the map that will accept loose Hay or Straw Pellets.

Ah ok, I guess I was expecting the sell points for loose Straw pellets to change. So, where do I change the prices for loose Hay and Straw pellets?

That would need to be done within the map itself and the xml files for the sellpoints on the map.
