Equipment order

I was just kind of wondering how many of us re order the equipment to a certain sequence and how many just buy stuff and just leave the order as is? If you do reorganize, in what order do you put your machines in?

Mine goes like this;

2 Quadtracs (620, then 580)
Seed truck
Fertilizer truck
Magnum
Puma
2 Big Brute
2 TTHD Flatbed
FR 850
Semi
8240 harvester
Semi
8240
Semi
7240
Semi
Wheel loader
Skidsteer

In case anyone was wondering, I ended up having to sell my Big Buds for slot count reasons.

In current game my order is:

• Tractor

In last game I used contractor mod so no vehicle switching.

In first game I used vehicle explorer mod and parked whatever I wasnt actively using so most vehicles was out of order..

Great topic! Here is what I like to do. For some reason this is just what works best for me, it's gotten to be second nature to me for switching between vehicles. I've gotten really OCD about it!

1. Hardi Rubicon (just used for spraying)
2. Pickup (seed tender, header trailer)
3. Semi (Larger HP semi for hauling grain from bins to sell point, used during harvest and spring work, pulls hopper bottom and a pup trailer, pulls flatbed trailer for fertilizer and chemical as well)
4. Semi (day cab mid-HP semi, mainly used for harvest, pulls hopper bottom)
5. Semi (day cab mid-HP semi, mainly used for harvest, pulls hopper bottom)
6. John Deere 8RT 370 Tractor (used on the grain cart and the corn planter)
7. John Deere S790 Combine (mainly harvests corn and soybeans)
8. John Deere 9RX 570 Tractor (Used on the 76' Bourgault for seeding beans, and the 84' FlexiCoil field cultivator)
9. John Deere 7430 Tractor (Used for odd jobs, pulling the fertilizer spreader, and for stacking/unloading fertilizer & seed totes)

For me its easier to just reset each vehicle going from last to first meaning the first thing you reset will be the last one in tab order.

Oh, so reset them to the shop in the order you want them. Makes sense never crossed my mind that you could organise the order of vehicles by doing this. Will make life easier being able to have the grain truck next to the harvester in the list

I usually run a combine, 2 tractors, maybe a semi and maybe a Big M so the order doesn't matter to me

Well for me its slightly different, once I have got enough money built up from starting a new map, would be.....

I use the Vehicle Explorer mod, so I don't have to worry about tabbing at all. But I still like to order my stuff by type. I always have my Pickup truck at the top, followed by my tractors in order of highest HP to lowest, then my harvester(s), then animal handling equipment (tele's, skid steers), then semi's. The rest is miscellaneous self propelled gear I may have and/or conveyer belts. Vehicle Explorer also lets you re-arrange things whenever you want.

I'm multiple years into Oberkrebach (about 200 hrs), my equipment order is

tractor (case 1455)
tractor (NH 8340)
harvester (case 1660)

So i sort my tractors and combines always how i need them.
In combination with tardis a mega tool.

I wish there was a way to set an order to the lineup!
I just leave it as it is, then hit-hit-hit until I find whatever it is I'm looking for, or just jump to a vehicle from the map.

I'm using the excellent vehicle explorer mod to sort my vehicles in the order I want them.

I sort them this way :
1. Small tractor
2. Bigger tractor
Then - another tractor if I got, if not, do I have a truck/lorry? If so then they comes next.
Skidd or telehandler if I got those
Combine( s )
Forrager?
Wheel loader / lawn mower/ forklifts
Car

The mod makes sorting them, and change between the easier. And, the sorting order can be used as the tabbing order as well
