I like a lot of tractors, but I REALLY love this one for some weird reason. I use this mod for some time now (but as it is private, I couldn't use it in my streaming project as it is a multiplayer project) and I freaked out when I had a tiny vacation on a Farm and they had that exact tractor for real :D
I know you can't show partiality, working with Giants. But admit it...you like those yellow rims. I have John Deere catalogs hidden all over the house, I know.

Nah I totally can. A lot of us here at GIANTS have their favourite brand. Mine is Valtra BTW :) but I do like JD (mainly the older stuff). Oh and I want a Gator!

Aha, so you go for the underdog eh?

Valtra must be the game’s least popular tractor brand. Well, that and Stara

Valtra N Series was almost universally my first purchase on FS17. Relatively small, nimble and cheap while still doing 32mph and pumping out nearly 185hp (plenty for the 6m Vaderstad drill on most maps).

So because you saw one in 2013 makes it a popular tractor?

Going through screenshots on this forum or Facebook and Reddit. Watching gameplay on YouTube or twitch... I don’t see many Valtra’s or Stara’s

Considering Valtra was at one time a Volvo/Valmat/Bolinder/Munktell/Valtra first manufactured in 1950 and morphed from then to an AGCO brand in 2004 I would say that they are fairly popular not mention and old brand.

I have done that ha. A lot of people here just drive a side by side through town and around to bar hop or just out for a drive.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.

Well, it being many things before doesn’t make it a popular tractor brand.

Another thing I wonder. Can you call it an old brand? It apparently changed name/brand 5 times in the last 70 years.
So, is it still the same manufacturer as it was in 1950? If so, is it still the same brand, since it changed names 5 times?

I think you can a brand popular if you see a lot of it. I don’t see Valtra a lot. Not around where I live, not on social media.

Valtra is a quite recognizable brand in Europe with a very respectable market share across Europe.
Just not in the USA.

But I live in Europe.

The times I’ve seen a Valtra the past couple of years... you can count them on one hand.

But it does depend on where you live, I guess
So let’s just say it’s not very popular on social media?

Consider that for example Deutz had 7.5% share in Germany and Valtra 4% in 2018 for new sales.
So yeah, statistically it's not as common, but half as common as Deutz in Germany is still a lot common.

I think the second part is key here, you could say that on this forum the US is over-represented
