Auger Appreciation

Post by FarmCatJenkins »

CanAGRO 926 VT-HK

I just wanted to take a minute to thank Farmer Andy for this mod. Him and his team have become my favorite modders as of late and this is just a small reason why! It's nice to have another option for being able to pick up loose material off the ground, not to mention the smooth animations and the added sounds that make it unique! *thumbsup*

Wait ... what? Does this not only work as an overload auger but as an replacement for this vanilla Lizard S-710 conveyor belt aswell?

Really? It picks up from ground? How do you get it to do that? I have only been able to get it to work overloading from a grain chute on trailers

Has anyone tried unloading into it from one of the hopper bottom trailers, yet?

I’d be curious on this one. You can’t move the auger by getting into it, and the hopper on the auger doesn’t extend. When I backed up my bailey trailer to it I got a trigger to pop up, so I imagine the Wilson trailers will do that as well, but it’s just a matter of getting the Wilson trailer over the trigger on the auger.

I do imagine that if console does get lucky and get gravity wagons, this auger would be the bees knees.

I know that Giants probably won't make a gravity wagon, but I love to read the responses.

Pc players could use the EasyDev Mod for a higher player strength and then push it under the hopper trailer

It is too bad you have to use the strength mod to push an auger around. Irl I cab lift and push bottom hopper augers around all the time.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.

I was thinking that i read one of the augers, maybe the bigger of the two, could be driven. If that was the case, you would think it woild work with the hopper bottoms.

And yes, the gravity wagon would definitely work nicely too.

The one I linked in my OP is the one that can be driven, but it's unfortunately PC only. I have not tried it with any hopper bottoms. Mainly using it for manure and a pile of lime i mistakenly bought
