potato newbie question.

If I have potatoes, how do I fill the seeder/planter with them?

You can fill the planter with potatoes by using a bucket on a frontloader, telehandler, skidsteer and so on.
You can also buy a bag with normal seed in the shop and fill it the same ways you fill seeders and planters. The buttons to use are depending on which platform you're playing.

Just too ad to what Lexie said, after a potato harvest, i keep what potatoes i think i need for the next year and load it from the potato shed to the planter using a conveyor belt.

I agree totally. Spent all weekend updating RealLifeNumbers so that prices and volumes of seed pallets agree with farm supply prices in RealLifeNumbers. (see spoiler).

Must have mods gives a bit of life to the spuds in FS19, in my book anyway.

I would welcome a much bigger sorter, - big enough that it makes sense to load/unload it with a conveyor belt.

I have no problem loading mine with a conveyor belt. I would like too see a bigger sorter, but just for looks sake.

Yes, the small sorter can be loaded with a conveyor belt. I just think the throughput capacity is a bit small compared to the washer. Having a bigger sorter would improve my "premium potato production line". I did increase the capacity of the sorter, but lined up with the washer, the sorter just appears too small.

Yea it does look out of place compared too the washer. I to increased the capacity of the sorter, the money i was making of the sorter made me feel as if i was cheating, so reduced it back to original stats. Forby the pig food i have mine set at 12%.
