Is there a trick to the Pressure Washer?

I just purchased the pressure washer (non mod version) available in the store.
However, there never seems to be any water that comes out.

I can turn the sprayer on, can hear the sound of it running, but no water comes out.

Is there a trick to this?

Doe's it need to be hooked up to some water source or something?

Any ideas?

Just to get this out of the way: did you press LMB (or whatever button is needed on console) to start spraying?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm on a PC.

I think I finally got it working. The HUD only says to press the R key to turn on the sprayer. This does indeed turn it on but does not actually start the spraying process. That, apparently, is a different action altogether.
After pressing all the keys on the keyboard I finally arrived at the X key and then, magically, the sprayer, at that point, begins spraying.

So it is a two-step process.

Step 1: Turn the sprayer on (R key) (Mentioned in the HUD)
Step 2: Begin spraying (X key).

Nice thing is, all of my equipment is now CLEAN!

X key works too, but yes the holding the left mouse button is the way I use it too, and is the way shown in the F1 help menu.

I really don’t onderstaand why they didn’t make it right trigger or bumper, so that you can move around while washing.

Now you’re stuck cause your thumb is on the circle/B button

I use the side of my index finger so I can still move. So dumb that they did this...

Chainsaw too. Same dumb decision... and the reason I never use it anymore.
