So you are telling me, with a whole new console coming out Giants is just gonna "repackage" 19 and sell it?

By John Deere DLC, do you mean the one with a single piece of John Deere equipment, four pieces from some other brand, and two from a fictional brand?

It takes them 2 years to develop their game,give or take?
They may have had one of the new consoles for 6-8 months...maybe a year at the most?
There will most definitely be a new game for the new systems...probably holiday 21.
They are going to want to make some $$$ before then.
The most logical solution is to "repackage" FS19,make some cash,come Christmas 21 make more cash.
Im 67% certain there will be a FS19 upgrade for the new consoles.

I’m fairly certain digitally remastering a simulation game would go over poorly with most everyone

The best you're getting is a boost in graphics settings and a slot count recalculation, if you're lucky.

It's equally possible they'll just do nothing on a game which will be finished once the Alpine DLC is out and rely on the next gen's backwards compatibility for FS19 so they can focus fully on the next game to make proper use of the new hardware.

Going down that road would mean a PC "remaster" is equally possible since XB uses DirectX.
Personally, I think neither a console or PC remaster will happen.
