Buck County console

Post by eric21 »

So with Buck County using lots of slots, here's a tip. Sell every vehicle and tools and only get low slot vehicles of things you'll need. I've got everything just needed a wheel loader or a skidsteer, a wrapper and a small tractor and think that's it

So you're farming with one tractor, a wrapper, and a loader/skidsteer? No planter, mower, baler, animal equipment, tillage equipment, nothing?

I don't know how you'll get very far with that.

I think you know the answer to that question. The OP could've been a little more descriptive, but your statement seems rather ignorant to me. It's pretty obvious he isn't JUST playing the game with those 3 pieces of equipment. It wouldn't be possible. Use your melon, man!

That's quite a bit but about the same as woodshire iirc. Definitely enough to play around with.

Meh.....seems high. Lone oak is pushing the limit as high as I prefer to start at. But I've never tried woodshire. Also I'm not sure what buildings you lose to get it that low. Also again. The straw swath is supposedly messed up on it

I thought it was in the mid 700's. Don't know as I started with seasons and sold everything off. Making an old Case farm. Who know's how long I will even stick with the map though.

I think the map itself looks amazing, but with the high slot count and the base game field and crop textures I just can't bring myself to play it. Just can't go back to those base game textures. Either going to wait for the millennial farmer map or the farmnopolis map.

I will have to do more testing, but I believe you can get the slot count under 700. But there is a small catch. You have to buy land that has certain placeable buildings and then once you own them, it will then allow you to sell them. For example, there is a piece of land that has the Lone Oak Shop on it that you can sell and reduce slots by 60.

I agree with you...hands down those base game textures are terrible. I can't leave Welker because of those great textures. Wish more maps would have them
