Now I know where...

After spending 5 days teaching twin 15 year old boys the proper way to harvest corn and plow fields I learned where the IA that Giants has was modeled after.. I spent a week teaching twin boys the ins and outs of field work and harvest while their father was putting down Anhydrous. Mom was driving the grain cart with the twin 13 year old girls and I was given the task of supervising the boys.... Wow, what a challenge and also; fun, gassy, frustrating, confusing and mind blowing. I could tell one something and after 5 minutes they had "Forgotten". I learned that RAP does NOT belong in a tractor or combine.. it just isn't right. 15 year olds are quite flatulent and have an odd sense of humor.... they also believe that their phones are attached to them and texting while plowing or harvesting is something everyone should do.... The second day we removed the GPS receiver so they actually had to do the work.... and I thought I had some gray hair before.... Wow.... I can only hope I wasn't that bad at listening and following directions...At least there weren't any serious mishaps and we, and the equipment, survived the experience.

Sounds like bad parenting for the last 15 years.

You reap what you sow. ;)

Ha! And here I thought I was the only one that listened to rap while doing field work... I was just before my time!

It was you that "bemoaned" that these kids don't even have the attention span of a day fly and are addicted to their cellphones. Which is an indicator that the parents didn't do such a proper job in my book.

Had you READ the information given.... They ARE TEENS and anyone who has worked with TEENS would KNOW that TEENS DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO ANYTHING. Where did you grow up? What gives you the authority to judge someone whom you do not know on how they parent their children and say nonsensical statements... Pay ATTENTION yourself...READ the whole of the statement. WOW!

Yes most teenagers are in their own little world. I would say it speaks volumes about the parents that they had their kids out there learning something new.

I thought when you heard rap while doing field work meant something needed fixing. Now we have to differentiate!
