Not sure what you’re asking? FS19 works on the One, One S, One X, and Series X. (Or whatever it’s called)

A few games have had a free 'upgrade' to play better on next gen, Ark, Forza Horizon, No Man's Sky, to name but a few,

Yes, the series x will play it, but currently no better than the xbox one x does, only difference is better load times and maybe less FPS spikes, but its pretty much the same on both gens

I dont think giants is as humorous as Rockstar is....re-releasing a re-released game for next gen consoles. FS19 is backwards compatible with the new consoles. No update needed

And I’ve heard that the game does run better on the new Gen purely because the game can leverage more computing power.

What’s wrong with that? They are updating it and it’s free to download if you owned it previously

The point he’s making is GIANTS has better things to do with their limited staff than remake a game that probably won’t make them more money like bannin... ... making the next game or precision farming DLC updates.

Hmmm, no ones gonna need to remake a game, a few here clearly haven't played a game updated for next gen....

All they need to do is change some settings pc owners have, like render distance, shadow quality, object distance, basically changing settings from a low end pc to a mid tier pc, that's all

The 3 games I mentioned all are a vast improvement all from those tiny changes.

Belongs to your TV: the Series X gives you 4K (upscaled from 3K XBOX ONE X enhanced version), 60fps (not always) and Auto HDR (that's really a big different). On SSD you get very fast load times (5 seconds, scipping videos), 10-15 sec loading a save file. It's fun to leave a game, test on an another file and go back so fast.

On the other hand: sometimes my FS19 freeze and the Series X made a new start. Don't know, if this is the Map, the game or the HDR.

Don't use Quick Resume. Can make problems. Always close the game over the guide button.

Giants didn't give us more slots on One X and here it is the same.

Load times and HDR are the most amazing different compared to the One X version.

So how would Giants make money on a free update to a game that,
a. They have to code in (no matter how simple it has to be done)
b. They have to test themselves
c. They have to pay (I believe) Microsoft and Sony (both new consoles) to test.
And I think that the One X is already running with the in game graphics settings maxed (my pc is similar in performance and can handle all settings maxed) so they would have to increase settings past their max and fight the far from optimized game engine to push even more out.
