Lancy asked for Oak Hill to be removed, according to OxygenDavid on discord, Giants pulled Chellington (he did not ask for it). Not much other information, but it sounds like there was stolen content on it.

Unlicensed brand images as I understand it.

I'm hoping that after the "DLC tracks debacle" was resolved just before Christmas, that this can be resolved as quickly.

Hopefully this wasn't because of negative feedback? The map is really good - just a couple of teething problems that I'm sure can be fixed easily.
Yes and no.
Yes as in lots of weird errors.
No as in wasn't pulled just because some people aren't happy.

Oxygendavid is in conversation with GIANTS.

As to whether things will get resolved is unsure at this moment in time.

It seems the QA tester issued Oxy an ultimatum that they would only test the map once more.(twice in total) If they found a single fault next time they would refuse to test it ever again.

When he sent a message to them saying that seemed overly harsh and that he was trying his best and that they give more leeway to other modders, the next thing he knew was Chellington was removed off PC Modhub, and was told he had sent an abusive message to the QA team also that there was objects on the map that had been reported.
However they refused to give him details of the objects.

The situation is currently ongoing.

Unfortunately I think it is a combination of several factors which has led to this situation currently.
Some of which aren't really anyones fault in particular but more just a flaw in how Modhub and Mod testing works.

Probably a dumb question, but are any of the mod testers fluent English speakers? It always seems its NA (and in this case England) that are having communication problems.

It's a shame it's coming to this to one of the best map modders currently in the game. In all honesty I'm not sure the direction of the franchise is a good one with the more seasoned players. And it's not promising for Console players either. When good modders who make mods for all platforms start getting difficulty and banned (in some cases) I see modders just releasing things on facebook or more trusted mod sites to avoid the headaches.

There is a need for far better and more professional communication from both Modders and the Mod testers.

It doesn't help the QA testers have too much work and not enough time so the quality and consistency of their testing is all over the place.

One modder will get his mod, which has issues, passed, while another gets his mod failed for the same thing.

And also it doesn't help by players bashing modders and giants alike, there are some fb pages that have become fanatical

You should look at the respective Discords - hysteria rules!

(or not! :))

It's very simple, it's none of our business. It's between the (current) modder and Giants QA. No reason for the whole community to get riled up again.

And hope this will be the last of this, because I'll be locking topics if the discussions about this keep going forward.
Nothing productive comes out of them.

I believe all giants staff are required to speak German and English. Mods on consoles are still new, so its still a learning process for both parties
