Re: Prebuilt pc
Go to a pc repair shop ask then to build you a pc most of them will and get cheaper parts because they buy wholesale. You will end up with a better pc for cheaper and you don’t need to know what your doing as much. Best Buy ect. don’t really seem to know much of anything to help you unless you happen upon an associate that’s a pc gamer.Hooligan999 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 6:30 pm Hi I’m having trouble finding a pc that will be capable for running farming sim and other sim games I mainly play fs19 been on Xbox for last 3 years been on a the old gaming pc for the last month and with 20or so mods it’s jumping around when in game and takes ages to load anything I’m after a prebuilt pc for around £1000 to £1200 if anyone could help I’d really appreciate it

Re: Prebuilt pc
I just bought a new pc too. While i wanted to build one myself at first i chose for a prebuild in the end since it was so hard to find certain components due to everything being out of stock. its an acer with a i7 10700 and a rtx 2600. The price i paid for it is within your budget.
I must say its a nice update from a i5 5200 laptop with intel hd graphics!

Re: Prebuilt pc
Check out AMD Ryzen, Intel’s been taking a beating the last few years from AMD in every market class and when I bought my PC I was wanting to build something with either a Ryzen 5 or 7.

Ok that a good shout what els am I looking at putting in ?
Re: Prebuilt pc
Your biggest problem is going to be an up to date graphics card. AMD and Nvidia have their latest generation cards out, but due to massive demand, scalpers and cryptocurrency mining, they are very scarce.
If last-gen cards are not a huge issue. An RTX 2060 or 5600XT are very capable cards easily capable of running FS19 at max settings. These also currently scare or overpriced. I currently have a 1060 6gig and run the game at max with no issues.

Re: Prebuilt pc
+1 on the GTX 1060 6Gb
It's worth looking for second-hand. My PC is ex-workstation, part of a company clearout, with new SSDs and the GTX added. It came in well inside your budget.

Re: Prebuilt pc
Or better yet a GTX1660ti which is an slightly older card. An RTX card can ray trace easily though which may be useful one day.

Re: Prebuilt pc
Think you have that backwards. 1660ti is a lot newer than a 1060

Re: Prebuilt pc
Ryzen will be more bang for your buck with a cpu. look for a 1600af I think it is. Same performance as the 2600 but much cheaper. Go with Nvidia for the graphics because AMD have horrid driver issues
Re: Prebuilt pc
Older = last Gen.
1060 is Gen prior to that.
