Wheel slip

Post by Jlracing18 »

Hi folks,
Anyone have a recommendation on what mod and tips to use to prevent wheel slip with the added realism mod? Some rigs just seem to have zero traction in the field
Enhanced Vehicle mod or vehicle control add on any help??
Using a Xbox controller so shuttle control not as big a want.

Thanks

Enhanced vehicle should help with that, yes.
Shuttle can be disabeled, and should thus not be a problem.

If you have fieldtype mass adjustment turned on, you will need to turn it off, or you will keep getting bogged down.

What’s the fun in that?
It usually works fine until bad driving causes problems, or lifting heavy stuff with comparatively small wheels/tracks.
I ended up Deleting REA and I kind of don’t miss it.

Each to their own, I guess it all depends on which set of mods you use suite you best to your liking.

Thanks folks. Like that a truck gets bogged down some, but zero traction is no fun. Will check it out and will see how it goes

I was having that issue with the latest version of the added realism mod. I deleted it and went and found the previous version and now bogging down and wheel slip are back into the 'fun' category. I believe from other threads) the author of that mod is aware and working on a fix.

Go back to 1.2.0.0 version, you can find it on google, thats the most stable version of REA, all other versions after that have too much front wheels slip, confirmed by many users in official REA thread in WIP modding section.

Do all vehicles have the ability to use enhanced vehicle? Bought a modded truck and option wasn't there? Do I have to restart the game after buying the truck?
Ps it has helped some being able to use diff lock.
