To be Fair, It was the train that did it for me. Anyone who takes the time to edit a train to make it more realistic to a short line that would operate in that area shows they care about all the details on their maps.

@chedley_farms In FS17 there was a map called Who Dat Who Der Ranch that had a longer train than the default train its a little shorter than the Train in Griffin, Indiana 19

Question for anyone who might know. I’m just starting on Griffin, and I use the straw harvest mod. When I look at the prices, each of the sell points shows $0 for grass, straw, hay, as well as the different bale types. Does that change as you go and there is just no demand right now, or are you unable to sell them on Griffin?

That's with seasons. Loose has no value, grass bales have no value. You can still sell bales, look at the recent sell price menu within the seasons menu and you will get a rough idea of a price. I also found placing your own bale sell point down gives you a price.
1300 acre farm, finish out just about 10,000 hogs a year, 200 cattle, and xbox one and pc user.

@Farming Dave I think you might be running seasons or the straw harvest as it effects the price of the bales

I am running seasons and straw harvest. The seasons economy menu shows $0 all the way across as well. I also placed a new sell point down and it’s pricing them all as $0 as well.

Pretty much according to the seasons manual :gamer: the bales that are loose or grass it cannot be sold only given away for free. You need to make hay and bale it before doing this.

You can still sell baled straw, just check the seasons menu for the approximate price. Same for hay. Grass, you'll have to wrap for silage bales.

Thanks guys. I’ll let you know what happens when I get done picking up the massive number of straw bales I have. 😂

Just an update, I took one bale to Buckley Farm and it let me sale. I won’t know the price before selling, but at least I can do it! Thanks everyone.

Just a little note @Farming Dave If you're using seasons I suggest you use the Griffin, Indiana GEO :this:

@ajFarmer you also forgot to put seasons as a required mod in the Griffin, Indiana GEO

Yeah I’m using the GEO for Griffin. Also trying some new production stuff on this map, pretty interesting.

My one and only critique of Griffin is the fact I can’t put the baseball diamond in my corn field. 🌽
It’s a great mod and there’s a tonne of stuff that can be done with it from a console user perspective it’s at a minimum standard I’d say the vanilla giants maps should emulate. To be honest I’ve only just downloaded having spent a lot of time on European maps but I’m getting stuck into it now and reading and feeling all the love that’s gone into it I can really appreciate it from a perspective I’ve not seen in other maps.
Great work 👍🏻
