John Deere, not sure if you were able to guess by the profile haha. Great tractors to run, I basically grew up in a JD tractor seat. Claas takes the cake with choppers though, we run a Claas Jaguar 970 and it's a wonderful machine. AGCO is pretty good too, we run a Massey Ferguson swather for hay and demoed a Challenger 1038 once that put our tuned 8310R to shame.

Not surprised by the Challenger/bargain bin Fendt and the Vario doing that, from what I’ve read they’re pulling machines.

Cant beat a Ford 7810, some tractors they are.
7810 force III is to die for, we ran ford 7740's for a while, and a 6610 force II for 5 years, and then we upgraded to the New Holland TM 130, along with a TT4.90 and an 8560, which was ford.

I also say versatile, we just bought a 975, which is around 360hp. It's NT855 A bigcam Cummins just goes and goes and the steering angle is 42 degrees, so it's great on headlands.

Game-Fendt 500 Favorit
Why- I use 3m equipment mostly, Cheap price, Front loader, Fast road speed,115hp, Great visibility, Nice sounds. What more would I need.

Real life-Ferguson and I do not mean Massey Ferguson
Why- Harry Ferguson invented the 3 point hitch still used today on all tractors , All the cool implements he offered for the tractor, Easy to work on, And I restored a 1952 Ferguson To-30. I love the grey. Fun machine to putt around on and to do casual farm work. Yes I also use the Ferguson pack by North Modding Company in game *thumbsup*

Real life Farm Work- Kubota M9960 100hp
Why- All we can afford

Why not Ford? The Fords got much better once Henry Ferguson no longer could touch/influence/control their design to his inferior/lower standards.

Yeah me father always had Fords but we traded them all in for newer tractors over the last few years, now we have a TM165, Case CS150, JX1100u an a new maxxum 125, really tempted to buy a 7810 to restore from ground up over the summer lol

Owned JD 630 used to pull 4 bottom chisel, post hole digger, otherwise used to plow snow, mounted front and 3 pt rear blades. Could be used to pull pto driven side delivery rake. Rear 3 pt bale carrier cap: 12 standard bales. homemade roof. Worked well for what we used it do with. Been around JD while growing up so prefer JD.
Ranch i worked on had JD circa 1963 manufacturing date, series don't recall, fuel propane, front loader, converted round bale carrier used on front loader, pulled NH 315 hayliner baler.
IH 1055 Tractor w/cab, hydrostat, mainly used to pull NH 1033 Stackliner trailed. Pulled 3 bottom over under plow.
Kubota front loader, mainly used to rake hay with side delivery rake, 2 wheel version.

Ferguson used over head valve engine designed by Continental , with synchronized transmission, flip up hood, and easily accessible side mount distributor to adjust points. Ford/Ferguson used flat head engine Designed by Ford. Non sycro transmission. bolt on hood and hard to access front mount distributor Definitely not better. Of course I know a Jubilee and other later models are far superior. Give Harry credit were credit is do. Just as I would Henry Ford for revolutionizing the auto industry. Both are were brilliant revolutionaries. I don't dislike any old tractor just happens to be my favorite as I also own John Deere 60, Farmal F-20, and Ford 9n :biggrin2:

Late model 8N’s I believe have the side mount distributor. And the hood has never presented an access problem other than when the steering box decided it and the bearings had declared war.

Yes the steering boxes on both brands are a pain to work on. My dream tractor is a new JohnDeere 6120m.Maybe if we have 100% yield for the next 10 years we can get one, just maybe lol

How does a case CS tractor go? Are they any good. I've always wondered if they're any good, they're a Steyr tractor aren't they?
