Which way do you prefer doing your silage? Bales or bunker?

Bales for me also. It's time consuming but I like having all my bales in one place when it comes to making tmr for cows. I still like making silage in the bunker also.

Depends on the map. I’ve done bunker on all my European maps. Now I’m coming back across the pond and plan on doing bales with the Anderson DLC. I do wish we could do ag bags and concrete silo silage on console though.

i do a bit of both bales and bunker depending on the map. Looking forward as well to using Anderson equipment.

If youre on pc then pit silage is really good. I use courseplay to drive the harvester and to do the carting and i load the trailers myself. I just covered the 1.5mil litres kf first cut silage last night

I'm doing clamp for the first time in 19.
Have been using the x-tractor for a good time, then have started to use the fastbale to get getter with round bales. Still using that on Hinterkaifeck, but clamp now on Kleinhau.
Going to be interesting using clamps, as i have limited space in the yard, so they are moved out a bit, and in different locations.
Though, I've done the same with both the round bales and the worm from the x-tractor. I have usually just gathered the wrapped bales in sort of decent piles arround fields for later transport to the farm

That way i both get more time during the hectic days, and another thing to do in the winter.

I like bailing but hate handling them. Right now I’m putting bales in TopAces multi fruit silo. Then load mixer wagon from silo I know not very realistic but oh well.

Bunker Silo but I’m only corn silage at this point, I need around 2 million liters to feed my dairy cattle and to feed out steers that’s a lot of bales haha

Bunker silo all the way. Have to cross a mountain range IRL to see marshmallows, so I only know the bunker. I prefer to use open bunker mods over ones with walls purely because I play semi-realistically. Walls for bunkers aren't very common anymore because they're a safety hazard once you fill them full. I do silage from both grass and corn silage, chopper is on Courseplay and I drive a trailer because I haven't figured out how to make tractor/trailers dump themselves on a CP course

For the uniformed how are walled silo bunkers dangerous? Needing to put some silo bunkers up on Medicine Creek someday.
