White Field Boss/Agco Ground Chief - Thank You Jullian H Modding

Post by chedly_farms »

First off, I want to thank Jullian H Modding for this fantastic American “Old Iron” tractor. It has very nice details, and the sound is cool. This just completes my lineup of attempting the Kip Sigler Youtube farmer lineup, lol.

One question or two... is there an issue with hired workers? I created a field, and am using a specialized piece of equipment so the problem could be on my end.

And is anyone else having a heck of a time keeping this thing straight while doing field work?

*Edit* I slowed her down to 7mph from 9mph, and she’s not so “jumpy” anymore.*

Just want to reiterate that I’m not complaining at all, just asking questions for clarification on my own game play. Super stoked about this mod. I can’t thank Jullian H enough!!!!

I know that Giants probably won't make a gravity wagon, but I love to read the responses.

Chedly, I have not used this mod yet, but was wondering if you thought maybe the issue of driving straight has to do with Griffin? I ask because i finally got to doing some work last night and i was using the Massey 135 with the sickle bar mower and noticed it seemed to want to veer back and forth slightly. Frankly o appreciate the movement as it makes me have to actually handle the thing a little more. As far as the workers, are you having issues with them at the end of rows? I noticed on Griffin even with plenty of green space on the fields I needed to make a fairly sizable hedgerow myself for the workers to turn and not miss stuff. First time i noticed this was in the field I created behind the white fenced in area of map using a 1455 that worked flawless on lone oak. As long as they dont just drive off like the modern classics pack I can try and reset or figure out work arounds for most rigs.

Back to issue of tractors veering, I hope Giants adjusts the mass and ground response for console in future. I feel I should not go from a dead stop in a field to full speed in a few seconds. I want the machine to grunt and dig a little bit when it's slightly undersized. Only if the rig is oversized should it just up and get it lol

As far as workers on Griffin goes, I have not had any issues before. I always do two passes on the endrows, and let them do their thing and I’ve had zero issues.

And i actually don’t mind having to saw at the wheel to keeps it straight. As it does add realism. But it is interesting to hear you had the same obervation in the Massey.

I will try using the Ground Chief on a different field doing some spraying and see if i hired worker will run it.

I was on field 33 and had some issues with getting worker setup to want to turn around sometimes but not too bad. But as I said when I formed the hedge rows I noticed the nose moving more than usual.

What type issues was your workers having?

I was using the seeder that is a spreader sowing grass. So it may have just been that. Like I said, I’ll try it again with another piece of equipment down the road.

Excellent, I hope that the issue is with the spreader then. I must have missed the spreader that can seed lol
