I am wondering if anyone has had any problems with either the John Deere DB120 or DB90 planters? Every time I buy them and try to start using them they start taking on a life of their own. They twist and jiggle and bounce up and down even when I unhook the tractor from them. They miss spots all over the field because they are bouncing up and down so much. If anyone has had problems like this, I'd like to hear about it. Is there a way to fix them so they won't do this?
Thanks,
Joel Wiggers

The tractor I'm using now is the John Deere 7310 R. The map is the NF_Marsch_4fach.
Thank you,
Joel

I've used both planters and didn't have any problems. Did you try them with another tractor?
Re: Problem with John Deere DB90 36-Row 30" Planter
I am finding all of sudden the hitching attachment to the tractor has started to dig into the ground on the DB120.and is exceptionally difficult to free even with heavy hands. So I sold mine back then bought a new one only to find exactly the same problem. So didn't save and quit game so I didn't lose cash then gave up on it and bought a different one, albeit without the ability to fertilize.
I have found the same problem with the DB120 also so I no longer use the John Deere planters. Shame really as apart from the dismal time they take to unfold/fold they were brilliant on sowing cotton on large fields.
