Demolition Company & Ski Region Simulator Engine

Post by DEERE317 »

I just thought of something I’m curious about. Did GIANTS 2 non FS games run on the GIANTS engine same as the FS games at the time? (the engine is the base physics, graphics, world controlling, etc code which then loads up and runs all of the scripts, models, textures, etc that we see)
FS15 & FS19 Platinum Edition PC (and War Thunder, Gaijin is way worse than GIANTS ever has been accused of being)

Deere, Fendt, Claas, and sometimes the rest of Agco.

Ski Region Simulator definitely ran on the same engine. I am not sure about Demolition Company. The likelihood is high though.

DC has the same engine aswell, i went over the official website: https://www.demolitioncompany-thegame.com/links.php
There is a link to a website with mods, i downloaded one of the linked mods and it had the same structure as older FS games, including a .i3d file, modDesc.xml and <modname>.xml

Thanks.

The random questions I come up with that have no functional value.

I know about Ski Region Simulator due to a briefly considered and abandoned RM idea for FS.

Top secret stuff, but I am sure you can see the overlaps after we had made the original Seasons mod :D

yes demo CO and Ski region share the same engine... I think (I haven't gotten it to work yet) you can some how import the destructible object into fs19
I do FS19 old school mods and FS19 military mods for PC let me know if you want anything done
I don't have any form of social media nor discord FYI

Maybe import it into the Fs from the same time and then forward convert?
