Some brands get very touchy about how their equipment is represented in a game. This means that we are unlikely to ever see stuff like scratches, dents, or breakdowns. For whatever reason, they also seem reluctant to allow the inclusion of older equipment.I guess this is because the marketing department only wants to showcase the newest and shiniest stuff in games.

Seems to me that the old tractors gap is well filled by modders anyway.

Based on how the hoses were handled in the transition from 17 to 19 I would not bet on this. All of the new to FS19 equipment and all tractors got the hoses. The 17 equipment that was ported over to 19 never got hoses / electrical cables. This leads me to believe that all of the existing vehicles with tracks that get ported to 22 probably will not get the new tracks. I am happy to be proven wrong, but my expectations of how existing equipment will be treated are pretty low.

Edit: bet, not be
It would be nice in FS22, thats the reason why I dont use some "previous" equipment & tractors becauese of the low quallity and lack of details.

I cannot disagree. This was one thing in FS19 that really annoyed me and, like you, I do not use any equipment that does not have hoses / wires.

Same here. If you look at some of the New Holland and Challenger equipment for instance.
I won't use those cause they look so outdated

At least we’ll avoid the “when’s seasons coming” zillion threads this time.

I think the one thing I’m resigned to not seeing already is the licensing of smaller brands and the widened scope this would offer to the community. If as The Seb correctly points out the big names are going to continue to dangle their newest and shiniest out there in a total contrast to the reality of “make do and mend” which prevails amongst equipment-owner farmers, perhaps widening the market to showcase smaller brands would go some way to mitigating the community members who would prefer not to constantly see the same brand new variants of AGCO/ JD / CIH/ Claas which are largely only different to the older models by the addition of led packages and power train upgrades rather than the 10-15 year old plus which are rattling around the average farm operator most often seen in the real world.
Just my thoughts.

Yes....hoses ftw for me aswell *thumbsup* I dont know how much work they would need to put into it if Gaints "updates" the "low quallity" to lets say Claas DLC quallity. Insane amount of time and work? Or should it be quite doable in a fair amount of time? Any idea?

IMO FS22 will be the best Farming Simulator game ever !
I quote from Giants blog : " Farming Simulator 22 will offer more depth thanks to a big variety of new additions and more freedom than ever before ".
That means only one thing to me : FS22 will be a sandbox game. Every player will have the ability to design the map in-game according to his/her own preferences, with plenty of placeable.

Do you know No Man's Land map? That is what FS22 will be. I just hope they will make an UNDO button for landscape tools and they will give us a bulldozer in order to demolish the buildings we don't want :)

Of course, what I wrote here is JUST my personal opinion, and no need to mention that I never claim I am correct

Happy Farming *thumbsup*

I hope multithread optimization will be much better.
The only thing that stopped me to continue playing FS19 was FPS drops...i like to play big farm, with lots of tractors/harvesters, Courseplay workers, lots of machineries parked in same spot at the main farm...if FS22 allows us to do this while keeping steady 60fps, i will drop my money at Giants's pocket.
