Hello all,
As I was downloading several new mods in game , a thought occurred.
What if we were to have a download all button or icon? That would make getting into the game a lot quicker and more advantageous..
Just a thought !

Somehow you landed in the german section... If you would do that, a lot of conflicts would occur. Maps generally don't like it when you put them together in the mods-folder, and many script-mods don't like each other either. And then there are also Prefabs in the Modhub, with wich you can't do anything unless you are a modder... Oh, and how long should that download take? Even with 100k internet downloading that many mods would take quite some time, and that dosn't even consider the fact that older Harddrives don't reach the writing-speeds required for the downloadspeeds 100k brings...

Then there is that random mod that the in game modhub doesn't want to download/update... and every time it hits 100% it restarts it's download over. So you're stuck there downloading that 1 mod for the 65th time until you finally take notice that you haven't progressed since you last checked up on it.

What would download all do? Download every single mod on the mod hub? Terrible idea. Almost as bad as "let's have all the other sites in the mod hub" idea. The only way to make it worse would be to add other sites directly into the game and a download all button.

Farming Simulator would need a a file rescue and or a clean install just to load up again. That would be the death of the game, if not your system...

Maybe he's talking about MP? That would make sense then.

If it's for mp, having an option for hosted games as the one on dedicated for mods downloads would be pretty good yes, if it's optional. It would be of great help sometimes, but if you just playing, and have an open server and a bad upload bandwidth you might not want that option enabled.
