Right now my cow health is dropping even though they have food,straw, water and cleanliness never drops below 80% Is there a way to stop the decline or a mod that makes it more realistic.?

But what kinds of food are you feeding? In seasons, you need to provide TMR, hay or silage and grass separately to get maximum health.

I'm pretty sure in this version of seasons, you don't need to provide all three types of food. The cows will only eat the best food available. If all three are provided, they will only eat the TMR.

Their health can only be maximized by providing TMR. I'm not sure how low their health will go from only feeding them grass or hay/silage, but health could be dropping because of this even if all needs are met.

The cow health metric (or whatever it’s called, may be production) is just a gauge of how much milk a cow is producing.

Actually cows fed TMR are usually healthier and put on weight faster than cows fed just grass. I consider the animal health very realistic in this game

In real life, what you feed your animals plays a huge role into how their health is, just like what you eat plays a role into your health.

It takes around one year for cows to produce offsprings and with that milk. The timeframe varies a bit and after a few years you will get milk year around. Make sure to sell all male offsprings as soon as possible if you want to maximize your profits.
