Remote access ideas?

Post by tom1979 »

In order to free up the TV for my family I have been running FS via Teamviewer on my laptop to the PC. Up until now it has worked very well however Teamviewer now won't connect unless I pay for a subscription. I would actually pay however they want 12 months at a time, and at £500 it seems a little over the top just to play a game!

So has anyone any better ideas? My laptop wouldn't run FS very well so need some way of connecting to the PC.

Cheers!

Is it on Steam? If so Remote Play would do the trick. If not I want to say some other forms of game keys can be put onto Steam (pretty sure I’m wrong)

I was gonna say remote play as well.

If your on a Windows based PC it may have some kind of remote play option built in.

I use Xbox Play Anywhere to put in some time during lunch break sometimes, streams from the Xbox at home to my Tablet at work. little to no lag as both systems are on AT&T fiber.

Yes it’s on Steam - I will look up Remote Play! I’d not heard of it, is it easy to setup?

It works very well, thank you. I feel a bit stupid for not realising it was even there especially as it was so easy to set up!
