Manufacture brand clothing in FS22?

Post by b101uk »

Looking at the image of the CLAAS TRION 750, the image from the right side it shows the driver in what appears to be Deutz-Fahr brand clothing being a softshell top and work trousers in Deutz-Fahr green/dark grey else the older green/dark blue.

what do you think? :hmm:

I was hoping there would be shirts with brands like the hats in 19, so that would be cool.

yes, but it is the wrong green for Claas in the xerion advert, like in the TRION.

Deutz and Claas jackets look very similar, but the Deutz one are the closest both in shade of green and colour placement.

the closest Claas ones:

Why do Europeans get the cool branded clothing? Reminds me of Mike Mitchell and how whenever he or family goes to Germany/Europe they buy a bunch of work clothes because they aren’t in NA.

The biggest question is what long sleeve in the middle of the hottest period in farming.

The AC must be working overtime.

I wear light long sleeves in summer when I am sat in predominantly glass cabs, as I would rather be hot and sweaty than cooler and sunburnt.

And I take you’ve never done work with hay in short sleeves? Or laid on the ground, especially prickly grass stems (imagine crop residue is pretty similar) oh and chaff is annoying to have stuck on you. Long sleeve =/= winter clothing, heck I’m wearing a Hanes long sleeve sweat wick shirt for hay right now.

I know it would be impossible to implement but when the cinematic trailer came out I briefly entertained the thought that maybe the clothing will change to suit the season.

But I think everything will just be long-sleeved because as others have said, you can wear long-sleeves in summer, but you're definitely not going to be wearing short-sleeves in the snow.

A Santa hat in winter seasons would be fun…

As was recently pointed out to me the Farming Simulator Instagram account follows (along with only 31 other accounts) Engelbert Strauss, who make work clothing.

While they don't sell (as far as I can see) jackets which matches the player in the combine, it does suggest that branded clothing will be a part of the already known expanded character customisation.

Whether that extends to equipment brands only time will tell. The only previous branded clothing were caps in FS19.

I do a lot. Always wear a short sleeve, cut off or no shirt. I rather not be anymore hot than it needs to be. Every summer day I'm wearing a short sleeve.

I think you will be able to go back and change clothing according to the weather and season. Just a hunch.
