Never heard of it or anything like it for 19, and no one knows everything about 22, it could be in the base game.

Why and how would you implement this, considering that tractor tyres easily last thousands of hours, i.e. for far longer than most people will ever spend with the same tractor on the same map in the game?

FS2x players: "my tyres are bald before I run out of fuel!".

Dj talked about a modder who was/is doing it for his Boxcar Magnum mod, that was months ago though

Question for OP: What exactly would the tires be wearing?
(in all seriousness, I don't think this sort of mod is a super important thing to add since, like theSeb mentioned, tires take a few thousand hours to show any significant wear, which is longer than any tractor in Farming Simulator will ever make it lol)

Sure, but then our tractors don't go from sparkling clean to looking like a mud bogger and back again when we drive over the corner of a field.
I think it would be a great mod. Perhaps have tyre grip decrease slightly as the tractor's repair bar decreases, at minimum repair level the tyres might slip a little more on wet soil, making working a field slower and burn more fuel.
Maybe someone could make a tyre mask like a dirt mask to show wear? That would sort out the visuals.

There are some people that keep tractors and dont sell them lol I've got a 4955 with over 1200 hours on Welker.Dairydeere wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 7:10 am Question for OP: What exactly would the tires be wearing?

On FS17, also on Welker, I had a new Holland with just under 2800 hours.
When my wife was laid off during Covid last year, she racked up 2400 hours on a 6910. To be honest FS19 got her through a real rough patch after she lost her job.

I thought my 100hr SP save machines were impressive (a 7R and 8R which are the workhorses)… that’s more than our main tractor (2016) has!
