So I have a GTX960, AMD Athlon II X4 860K processer, 8ggb's ddr3 memory.
Will this be ok or do I need to get a better graphics card if I can find one to buy.

If I can find one what card should I be looking at £300 is about my budget.

Thanks.

No definitely not. :wink3: I'm assuming you're just being a smart **s if you have a 3090. And I bet the rest of the machine is top notch too if you've got the $$ for a 3090

We also just had confirmation from Giants that the game is capped at 60fps unless you're running in DEV mode. So if anyone has been feeling a little worried about FS22 because all they got in 19 was 60fps, know you know.
I know I was beginning to doubt my system because I was only getting 60fps even on a new map with no equipment, yet I could run SOTR at 144fps. So I'm now happy even though I wasn't going to buy a new graphics card at current prices.
Well i can tell you that im running a RTX 3090 and get jerking motion and fps going crazy between 20 fps and 120 fps every second. Making it unplayable. even on low settings. i run 3840x1080 on 144 Hz so its not a joke question at all. Some games just dont support the resolution or high end pcs. My friends have the 3900xt and running in the same problems.

Performance is very good, everything maxed, DLAA. My RTX 3080 is using about 35-40% utilization and 90W at 4K. Paired with a 12700K CPU, also low usage. Everything butter smooth.

My cheapo RTX3050 seems to cope perfectly well.

I got same problem, even in menus GPU utilization is already 75%, doesnt matter which graphics settings you put it will stay between 85-99% all the time and has big FPS spikes,
FPS moves between 0 - 60, for example i put game settings at max, i will get 20fps, very high will get 55fps, but jumping between vehicles drops fps to 0. Game is not smooth at all,
does not matter what settings you use.

CPU utilization is about 6%, RAM and GPU ram utilization is very low also, so problem seems to be graphics card utilization.
FS19 maxxed out settings i get GPU utilization 35%.

Game is basically unplayable for me.

And i can't do anything about it, tried the latest nvidia drivers and so on.
PC has 4k monitor, 10900k cpu, 32GB ram and RTX 3080 Ti.
All the other games run very well, no problems at all.

Nice to know I'm not alone in the FS22 performance debacle.

On a 1080Ti I'm getting anywhere between zero (yes, that's 0) FPS when I look around 'too fast', move 'too fast' or tab switch switch vehicles to maybe, if the moon and stars align correctly, 45FPS running at 1440p. Changing resolution and graphics settings (Medium>High>Very High) seems to make negligible difference.

Should also mention I couldn't get the game to start at ALL without changing the renderer to DX11 in the game.xml config file, running it as DX12 would just crash out.

Thinking perhaps maybe my DX12 had corrupted somehow I fired up Cyberpunk and...no problems. Running in DX12 at 1440p, medium settings at a solid 60FPS.

So...what in the heckin' is going on here?

System Specs:
Windows 10 LTSC 1809 - up to date
nVidia driver version 496.76
Intel i9 7900X (10 cores, 20 threads, 3.30GHz without boost)
64GB DDR4 2666Mhz - quad channel mode
2x 512GB Samsung 960 Pro M.2 (one for OS & programs, one for games)
EVGA GTX 1080Ti FTW3

Ok I'm getting a solid 60fps (game cap apparently) on the following system with max graphics settings. (Game automatically set me to max settings)
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
32 GB GSkill Ram (3200)
2 TB Firecuda NVME SSD
AMD RX 5700 8GB Video Card
Windows 11 (patched yesterday before game came out)

So far I've had no issues as I said. If anything it's performing better for me than FS19 did.
Have been playing FS since FS 2011 came out and still going strong. *thumbsup*

I can confirm my Ryzen 5800x and 2070 Super has max settings and solid 60FPS at 1440p including streaming via nvenc.

6900XT and Ryzen 5700X at 5120x1440 running off m2 SSD.

Everything turn up to max 200%, 400%, max mirrors etc.

Runs at 60Hz. When turning off FPS limiter, hovers between 70-90Hz.

No issues here.

I've been trying to let as many people know the fix for your issues as I also had the same issue myself.

Two things to sort your issues out.

Make sure resolution scaling is set to 100%... if it's at 200% that means the ones of you playing at 4k res already the game is trying to run at 8k res and your gonna get poor fps obviously. That option uses more performance than setting your resolution higher manually.

The sutter issue is something I've had since Fs17 and Fs19. Disable V-Sync, enable dev controls in the game.xml and press F3 when the game is loaded to disable the frame rate limiter. F2 brings the fps hud up so you can see what fps your getting.

Also the game needs Win10 to run Dx12..

Doesn't disabling the frame lock cause physics issues? I remember this being a problem going all the way back to FS15, if not earlier.

Currently I have:

Windows 11 (22000.194)
ASUS Prime H310ME - R2.0 / Pentium Gold 5400 3.70Ghz - 12Gb DDR4 2666Ghz
GPU: ASUS GTX 1050Ti OC 4Gb (from 2018) / 22" 1080p Monitor
SSD: OCZ Agility 3 60GB (2011 - 10 years an the Grandpa is still at 87% - !!1000/100 OCZ!!)
HDD: 2x500GB

FS22 With the graphic settings at maximum, it stays at 40 Fps (I limit it and it stays without going down)

FS19 with the same configuration, drops to 28 sometimes, but 32-35-37 very frequently.

This change to directx 12 is a huge performance improvement, so I don't need a 3080 to play decently.

For me it is a very positive change.

Edit:
Only in the transition from autumn to winter, there is intermittence in the leaves of the trees, when they disappear, and sometimes the snow in the streets when it appears (and I don't care, it will be fixed) although I have not tried deactivating TAA, but I don't think it's the hardware's fault, since the same thing happens to others, with better configs than mine.

I dont know if my rig is on drugs or something but i can run on max settings with a stable 60 fps rarely goes below just when something is loading in background, i have a GTX 1660 super and an old i5-4460 with 16Gb ram. Im no expert to these things lol.

I running 1440p max everything on a standard 1080 and get 60 fps (capped by G-Sync) and Not run into any issues.
