Sounds are very quiet.

Does anyone else find that the sounds in FS22 are very quiet compared to FS19. In FS 19 I have my master PC volume at about 18. Where as in FS 22 I've got the volume up to 40 (and in game sounds are all set to 100%) and I can still barely hear the game.

yes it seems a lot quieter for me as well.

OK, maybe there's something wrong with the game, but I just fired up FS19 to check and the sounds are a lot louder than FS22 with the volume bar at the same settings.

I have been waiting for Steam to release but couldn't resist buying on the XBX as well for a quick look while waiting for steam. Admittedly I have only loaded it up for 2 mins as I am not really a console person, I have agree the sounds in cab are very quiet for the car at least.

Just as it should, it had been made more realistic. In cab sound differs per vehicle, older tractors for example are louder in cab than the newest ones, and i dont know about your car, but mine is silent in cab as well

i dont know about your car, but mine is silent in cab as well

I teach people to drive for a living so no chance of silence in my car...I wish!!!

I'm also finding the sounds very quiet. Headphones max volume & still way to quiet, TV volume double what I use for any other game or general viewing.

I heard several of the pre release streamers say that the sounds are greatly improved but the vehicle sounds seemed too low, hopefully thay ed that information back to Giants

Agreed the sounds are amazing. Just wish I didn't have to turn up the volume so much to hear them. It's the only issue I'm having.

ill have a look ive seen a few volume values in the xml files, ive not had change to have a play around. one thing i noticed is there is only one load sound file for all the vehicles it seems. fs 19 had individual load files for each tractor. i think this is where them all sounding similar is coming from

Have the exact same issue, if someone figures out the problem, I'm all in, I love the loud sounds in FS19, I just checked and copied the exact same settings in FS22, and even if I crank up my speakers physical volume control to 100%, I barely can hear the game, but nearly got a heart attack for steam chat sound from a friend.
