Ai worker screen froze

Any one else having an issue when creating jobs for workers. Every time I create a job it pauses for a second and the odd time it has froze all together. I have to close the game and restart it again losing any work I have done.

Happened to me last night on the AI worker screen. On PS4. Everything froze and it looked like the game had crashed. Rebooting game would have lost a lot of progress. However after about half a minute it caught up again, and then worked normally. If I'd not been facing such a loss of progress I would have had less patience and rebooted before it came back on.

I could be wrong but I think it's pausing while it works the route out?

If this is the case, I guess a progress bar would help?

^^ I've had another go at this, and the thing did indeed freeze for a good few minutes. I was about to re-boot the PS but it eventually went back to the start task screen.

I’m still not sure about the fact it takes that long to figure out a route. Mostly it pauses for a couple of seconds. This time it has been frozen for 5 mins and counting. I think there must be some sort of bug in it.

I've had another few goes at this, but not with good results :(

On the whole, set up a vehicle and a route, and it just freezes. One time I had to crash the game to get out of the menu. On other occasions, it says the destination is not reachable even though it's on the same road (with no turnings!) as the vehicle. Another time I got a tractor to drive about 50 feet on it's own, which then got stuck on a lamp post and everything froze for a while, and another time, after successfully getting a MAN tractor unit towing the Krone semi-trailer to drive itself, it ignored the road and went straight across a field!

I think the principle of the feature is great, but at the moment it's not working 100% (for me at least). I'd hope an update can solve the problems, although it may be simply down to being on PS4 :(

This sounds like he’s talking more pc then console ? Can outside modders do any fixing with something that’s giants?
