Mine that crashes is the steam copy.

No I didn’t get a Preview Copy of the game. So all my game data has been generated with the Steam Version of the game that released at 8am GMT on November 22nd.

I’ve also removed and re-installed all game data and save data several times this weekend to try and solve this issue.

My next test will be to uninstall the game again completely and download the Giants version of the game and install and see if it crashes with their own version.

I tried again, going right up to the house and around all the buildings and didn't crash on the desktop or laptop.

It's almost certainly environment dependant. Both my PCs are running 64bit windows and DX12, with NVidia GTX 3060 and 3050. I can (probably) get the old ThinkPad out and see how that fares, my previous desktop is suffering from dead graphics card so can't help there and my MacBook is way too old run it.

I’m running Windows 10 Pro 64 Bit
I7 8700K Processor
32GB DDR4 3600Mhz RAM
I recently upgraded from a GTX 1070 FTW graphics card to a RTX 2080 Ti FTW 3 Ultra Card.
So nothing wrong with my PC specs, more then capable for playing Farm Simulator.

On Elm Creek and Erlengrat I’ve been playing and not had any issues with crashing. I’m playing Multiplayer on a dedicated server running Elm Creek and not having any issues. In game on both those maps performance is the best I’ve seen from Farm Sim. I’m rock solid and stable 60 fps (My monitor’s refresh rate). Even on Haut Beyleron without the crash the map is running very well for performance and visuals.

Quite a lot of people are reporting crashes around the spinnery on the Haut-Beyleron map. You can also see the error in the game log. It could be a graphics setting maybe with a faulty asset.

Well I’ve now installed the Giants version of the game and tried that. I still get the crash, but strangely get much closer to the buildings in that area before it happens. On one attempt I even made it to the hotel doors and the spanner icon before it crashed. I’ve also done a test where once I load into game I open the build/landscaping menu and then try to travel to that area but again once there it crashes with the same error.

So for me makes no difference which version of the game I play, I still get the crash on this one map in this one specific area.

So if it’s an environment issue or PC related issue then someone from Giants is going to need to take a look at our systems and how it compares with those running the game fine, find the differences and then see how to fix the problem for us.

By "environment" I mean "the device and all it's components" - the FS log gives a good summary - this is mine down to the first mod/dlc - could you post yours (and @Shintai if you have time?)

Was that from a clean/deleted log file? Because mine starts at "Physics System" for a clean log file, which sort of hints at a different version.
Playing new "Beest" Intel i7-11700F with GeForce GTX 3060 and XBOX controller
also £600 laptop - AMD Ryzen 5600H with GeForce GTX 3050 XBOX controller

Clean log yes. Steam version. cwattyeso I know tried both steam and giants version. Crash in both.
