Yep, still unresolved after patch. Even using entirely different hardware and windows version.

No problem on PS4 and I have currently 16 cotton bales sitting on sell point waiting for the spinnery to accept them and still a field and a half left to harvest

Yeah very disappointing that this issue has not been resolved in Updates 1.2.0.0 or 1.2.0.2, would have thought fixing Game Crashes would have been top items on Giants todo list.

Ran into this error yesterday trying to launch a new save on the newly released Elm Creek Edit map by Stevie. The game crashed creating the save at just 23% and did this every time I have tried to create a game with this map. Finally decided to check the log to see if there were any clues as to why it was crashing on game creation, and once again it’s this same resource pool error.

It's a strange one how this effects some and not others, I hadn't been to the spinnery until yesterday when I thought I'd see what happened for me as a test. I spent a good while taking all sorts of vehicles there and could not get it too crash for me.

Yea I actually started a playthru in france and nothing. I wish I knew what to suggest... I can only imagine how frustrating it must be.

I have found one solution, which is to lower your graphics, it's an annoying one, but by the looks of things it a graphics setting being too high that causes the crash.

I don't understand that tho. Take cwattyeso rig. Its on par with mine or even better (I don't remember off hand) and I am running a super ultrawide monitor on max settings short of tweaking things like the DLSS and I don't even get a hiccup at the spinnery. My rig is capable but my monitor is really demanding and if it were based on resources and settings, I should at very least get some performance issues around that area.

Having looked through a while back I think we found 'resolution scaling' has a massive impact on background performance (but don't quote me on that). I turned down this setting now and in areas of high detail I still get a drop whilst it loads it all in but it's not a crash so it's better.Image (no impact on graphics really looks wise either)

Playing new "Beest" Intel i7-11700F with GeForce GTX 3060 and XBOX controller
also £600 laptop - AMD Ryzen 5600H with GeForce GTX 3050 XBOX controller

No it's not a base game map, just a quick convert. Using the photo to show that the game can look half decent, even with some settings toned down.

I got this crash moments ago on the Haute Map und Yesterday on Erlengrat.
Random Maps and situations..very strange

i dont think it has something to do with the enviroment, i played 250 hours on erlengrat until i got the Error: failed to create placed resource (BufferPool)

so i tried a new savegame again on erlengrat and the same happens aver 50 hours.
it dosnt matter where i am or what i do, the game crash always at the same time if my save arrives december.
but there is no difference if i lower settings, shutoff some features, using seasons or not, the result is always the same.
i think the crash has something to do with this

Interesting that people now get it anywhere essentially. Those of us originally can still trigger it on demand tho.
