How can a 68k liter cart of oats, a 77k liter cart of corn and 44k cart of corn weight the same..

Because they have different mass densities. Not saying the in game values are correct.

They're known as hectolitre weights for grains as i spent a summer working for BASF and a few weeks measuring them for trials about viability of oilseed for biodiesel . but giants have in the past halved the weight for gameplay ease and i wait for a mod to sort this.

Yes those commodities have different densities (bushel weights or hectolitre weights).

However I am not sure you guys read the OP's post that carefully.

If the numbers he posted in his question are not typos, he is identifying some glaring errors somewhere in the base game code or vehicle attributes.

I know about HL weight, bushels and such. Had to learn that to make sense of all the us farmers I watch on YT
-I've done some test, things seems to add up. . but I think the cart and tractor in use at the moment didn't fit on the weight will write more later, making dinner
