Elm Creek Farm Area's

Post by FarmerLee73 »

Now that GE is available for 22 I am going to delete all the buildings in the "other" farm area's that we can't not use so that I can place my own buildings instead. Does anybody want me to post the file or are most people comfortable with editing via GE anyway?

I see someone has posted a standalone version of Elmcreek on simply safe mods, might be easier for some to deal with. Careful when deleting things from maps as it can cause unwanted issues, better sometimes to simply move objects below the map.

Oh well if someone has already done it then it saves me doing it!

They haven't made any changes to the map, just set it up as a mod you can download and edit as you want rather than having to figure out how to do that yourself. One less thing to work out when first getting in to GE lol.

Think I might have to try that file, as the one I edited crashed the game! Me and my silly ideas!!

Never simply delete stuff from maps unless you really know what you are doing.
Just move it far enough below the surface (-50m).

Just got confirmation in the bugtracker that the buildings on the alternate farm areas will be usable with the upcoming patch.
